Our Mission: To provide a safe and inclusive community space for children and families to grow, explore, and connect through play that nurtures social-emotional and physical development.

What We Do

Playhouse Discovery Center is a community based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces where children and families can grow, explore, and connect through purposeful play. We believe play is essential to healthy childhood development and that every family deserves access to welcoming, affordable opportunities to learn, build relationships, and thrive together.

While we work toward opening our permanent indoor play space, we're bringing our mission to the community through play pop-ups, a growing toy lending library, family events, and partnerships with local organizations. Together, we're building a place where play strengthens children, supports caregivers, and connects our community.
